Humans are built to thrive. Your nervous system is designed to flexibly meet all of it - beauty and challenge. Stress can overwhelm our capacity to digest experience. Experiences that are too much can show up as, for example, anxiety, panic, depression, irritability. We can develop behaviors, feelings, and states that prevent living as fully or comfortably as we want. Resilience & flexibility, though, can emerge with good support. We hold space and offer support for this emergence.
Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a psycho-physiological modality that works with the innate processes of the nervous system to resolve and integrate difficult or traumatic experience.
Lisa is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner who combines SE practice with years of experience in mindfulness, shamanic, and depth psychology practices to hold space and provide support for healing and wholing for more ease and aliveness.
